We greatly respect lifelong learning of Judaism, Torah, Jewish holidays, Jewish heritage and culture, and the Jewish experience.

We sincerely cherish uplifting religious experiences in Jewish observances and events, enlivened by musical instrumentation and our congregation united in song.

Social Action – Tikkun Olam:  Hebrew Tikkun Olam

We generously invest time and energy in a host of nonprofit organizations through social action, caring about the wellbeing of our local citizenry and helping to heal the world.

Vision Statement

As a Reform Jewish congregation, Temple Beth Tikvah envisions consistent long-term growth, elevating our congregation and our local community spiritually, educationally and socially.

Community – Gemilut Chasadim:

Provide an inviting facility, rented or owned, in which to worship, educate, socialize and display our Jewish artifacts.

Education – Torah:  Hebrew Torah

Hold weekly Religious and Hebrew School classes for children, full preparatory training for those wishing to become a Bat/Bar Mitzvah, stimulating programs that attract teenagers and Jewish education for adults.

Worship – Tefilah:  Hebrew Tefilah

Retain a progressive Rabbi that challenges and stimulates the congregation spiritually, religiously, intellectually and emotionally. Ideally, the Rabbi will be a resident of Bend and serve at least halftime.

Social Action – Tikkun Olam:  Hebrew Tikkun Olam

Engage public-spirited congregants of all ages in Social Action programs that positively impact within and beyond the boundaries of our local community.
