“Seeds, Shofars & Slices” – Tashlich at the River!
Dear Friends at Congregation Shalom Bayit,
We are delighted to invite you to join us for Tashlich and a community picnic with Temple Beth Tikvah on Tuesday, September 23rd at 4:00 pm at Pioneer Park. Together, we’ll cast our cares (symbolized by seeds), lift our voices, and share in the joy of welcoming the New Year as one community.
Top 3 Reasons You’ll Want to Be There:
-
Toss your cares into the river (and wonder if the ducks are taking notes).
-
Hear Jo Booser’s shofar blasts—the soundtrack of renewal echoing off the Deschutes.
-
Enjoy pizza and salad provided by TBT—because no one should start the New Year on an empty stomach.
Rabbi Sara Abrams will lead the service, and we warmly welcome you to join us in prayer, music, laughter, and togetherness. Register below, bring your favorite beverage (no alcohol, please) and a lawn chair.
Come for the mitzvah, stay for the pizza, and leave with a lighter heart—and maybe a few seeds still rattling around in your pocket.
L’shanah Tovah,
Temple Beth Tikvah
