Torah Study

We will be exploring issues raised by the weekly Torah portion through the lens of Rashi’s commentary. Rashi is an 11th century rabbi who lived in the Provence region of France. His commentaries bring together excerpts of classic rabbinic literature and his own interest in language for the purpose of bringing forth useful lessons.By the way, in addition to writing definitive commentaries on the Torah and the Talmud, Rashi was a vintner.
