About the Speaker
- Brigitte Cronier, MS, LCGC is a board-certified genetic counselor based in Bend, Oregon, where she provides personalized genetic counseling services at St. Charles Cancer Center. She is currently the only genetic counselor practicing in a clinical setting east of the Cascades in the state of Oregon, serving a vital role in expanding access to genetic care in rural communities. Brigitte earned her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania, where she built a strong foundation in medical genetics, ethical counseling, and patient advocacy. Her clinical focus is on hereditary cancer risk assessment, and she is passionate about helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their health through clear, compassionate guidance. Outside of work, Brigitte lives in east Bend with her partner and their energetic mini Aussie. She enjoys reading fantasy novels, tending to her garden, and skiing.
