Temple Beth Tikvah is a remarkable community of incredible individuals and we are blessed to have each other particularly during a pandemic. While there is no substitute for a really big hug, we are grateful for our virtual gatherings that enable us to see each other, chat and listen, sing, pray, learn and grow. We are thankful for Rabbi Johanna’s leadership, for her creativity, tenacity, and capacity to inspire. She has stretched her technical skills on our behalf and for our benefit. We also thank our member volunteers and program coordinator for their good work that keeps our temple running.
Without a doubt, COVID-19 is bringing stress or discomfort to some of us and hardship to others. It’s important that we support our community so that our community supports us. It’s up to those who can give generously to sustain those who cannot. To fill the gap so that TBT continues to serve a growing Reform Jewish congregation for generations to come.
This fiscal year, we want to make it especially easy for you to renew your membership. Look for your TBT statement in your digital inbox for the amount you contributed in 2019-2020. There is no pledge card, no letter in the mail, and barely a mention of the suggested $1000 pledge amount.
For those members who are able — please make your annual, one-time gift in the next month or two. If you’d like, click here now to Donate by Credit Card. Or mail your check to TBT, PO Box 7472, Bend, OR 97708. Members who wish to change the payment schedule or donation amount that appears on your statement, please email our treasurer, Mark Schindel, at email@example.com. Whatever you can afford is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for all that you do and all that you give.
