Come watch a screening of the film The Struma. David Stollar was the sole survivor of the sinking of the refugee ship Struma. The ship was on its way from 1942 German-run Romania to Palestine when it was torpedoed by a Soviet submarine in the Black Sea. Stollar eventually moved to Bend, and died in 2014.
